Lessons are delivered by our experienced team and are tailored to the rider’s individual ability and experience.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eLessons take place at our \u003cstrong\u003eShamley Green site in Surrey\u003c\/strong\u003e and may include school-based riding, hacking and other ridden activities where appropriate to the rider, horse, weather and ground conditions.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003ePlease note before booking:\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003ePrevious assessment:\u003c\/strong\u003e New riders will normally need to complete a Riding Assessment with us before booking ongoing lessons. This allows us to understand your riding ability and match you appropriately with a horse and lesson.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eSafety gear:\u003c\/strong\u003e You will need to bring your \u003cstrong\u003eown riding hat to current safety standards and appropriate riding footwear\u003c\/strong\u003e. We are unable to provide safety equipment, so please make sure you have your own with you on the day. Riders are also required to wear gloves and any other safety equipment specified within our Riding Consent Form.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eClothing:\u003c\/strong\u003e Please wear suitable riding clothing and dress appropriately for the weather.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eBooking form \u0026amp; consent:\u003c\/strong\u003e All required booking information and riding consent must be completed before participating. You would normally have completed this prior to your riding assessment (if not we will send you a new form).\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eHorse allocation:\u003c\/strong\u003e Horses are allocated according to rider ability, horse welfare and suitability. For safety and welfare reasons, we cannot guarantee a particular horse.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eArrival:\u003c\/strong\u003e Please arrive just a few minutes before your lesson to allow time to walk to the yard from the visitors' car park.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eCancellations:\u003c\/strong\u003e We require at least \u003cstrong\u003e48 hours' notice\u003c\/strong\u003e if you need to cancel or rearrange your lesson.
