Junior Elysian Farmers (JEF) is a countryside club for children aged 6 to 12 at Westland Farm, Shamley Green, running every Wednesday after school or Saturday morning. Junior Elysian Farmers (JEF) reconnects children with animals, nature, community and practical life skills through weekly clubs, holiday activities, members' events and seasonal experiences. It's built to give children confidence, friendship and independence, in a safe, structured outdoor setting.

This is a perfect fit for families looking for a structured, safe, and genuinely enriching way to spend the week.

Membership Required - Our term-time activities are exclusively available to JEF Members. Before booking the Autumn Term, please purchase your Membership (one membership per child).

First term date 9th September 2026: this term's weekly club sessions include harvest projects, woodland skills, and pumpkin activities, alongside farm favourites like:

• Grooming and caring for horses
• Feeding goats, poultry and other animals
• Nature walks and wildlife discovery
• Practical countryside skills and seasonal projects
• Gardening, growing and woodland activities
• Team challenges and campfire activities
• Learning real responsibility through real jobs on the farm

Note: Children aged 5 may attend with a parent or carer who stays and remains responsible for them throughout.

How to choose your option:

• New to JEF? Pick a combined Term & Annual Membership option, this gets your child their weekly club place plus everything above.
• Just want membership (holiday activities, discounts, events, no weekly club place)? Choose Annual Membership on its own.
• Already have an active Annual Membership? Choose the Wednesday or Saturday term-only option to book your child's weekly place.

Why do I need a membership?

Membership provides access to our term-time programmes and includes exclusive member benefits, resources and opportunities throughout the year. Membership must be purchased separately before enrolling on any term-time activities.
